Old Key West Overseas Highway

This is the old part of the Overseas Highway also known as the Seven Mile Bridge that connected the lower Keys and islands on the southern tip of Florida. The highway was built on the briges for the Florida East Coast Railway. When portions of the highway were destroyed by a hurricane they were never repaired and a new highway was built instead. You can see the new highway in the background.
